Brisbaneis the state capital of Queensland, Australia. The city is situated along Brisbane River, which runs through the city and is crossed by several bridges. Brisbane is said to have Australias highest population growth. In the later years the city has exploded with restaurants and cafes. The addition of Treasury Casino has turned a sleepy city to "Bris-Vegas". Brisbane also has a fast growing music scene, both regarding classical and modern music. About an hours drive from the city there are a number of different national parks with fantastic hiking tracks. All the beaches of the Gold Coast are only an hours drive south of Brisbane. The climate is subtropically humid.
