Positano is a small town in southwestern Italy, furtherst down on tha famous Amalfi coast, about an hours drive frm Naples. The city itself is like an amphitheatre where the houses hang like terasses over the sea. This is the Italians own paradise,and you travel here, among other things, to buy the special summer clothes that are sold here. Many of Italy's famous fashion creators have their ancestry here. This is an idyllic jumble of streets and corners, alleyways and small squares, as well as fabulous restaurants. This "fishing village" town has everything to offer for a romantic evening by the Mediterranean: a soft breeze, sunset and with some luck, full moon.
