AMNESTY SAFE SPACES FESTIVAL was conceptualized by the Amnesty Malmö Women’s Rights Group as a means of providing “safe spaces” where women and people of alternative sexualities can come together and discuss and analyze the common experiences of persecution, violence, and oppression. Safe spaces have been a vital element throughout time as it is here where women and people with alternative sexualities can escape violence, harassment and victimization. Come and join us in creating a safe space for everyone where we not only explore difficult and troubling questions, but where we can come together as a united front in opposing human rights violations everywhere and celebrate the spirit of humanity.

We warmly welcome people of all backgrounds, genders, and sexualities to attend all our activities.
