One of the most fundamental stage works of the Baroque period, Henry Purcell's "Dido and Aeneas" will be performed in January in a collaboration between Göteborg Baroque and Utomjordiska at Röda Sten Konsthall in Göteborg. In a dreamlike staging, the tragic love story between Dido and Aeneas is portrayed in a version with two men in the title roles. The interleaved performance by dancer Olof Persson, gives the work a completely new aspect. The clear sound of Göteborg Baroque meets Utomjordiska's loving lack of respect. Together this forms a unique performance.
