In the "Marvellous City”, it is warm all year around and the obvious meeting point is the beach where most people look like golden brown training gurus. On their way back from the beach, many stop and have a coffee at Cafeína or a beer in the slightly rough gay bar Bofetada. The women often prefer Casa da Lua located on Barão da Torre Street. Later on, the alternative and fashionable gays go to nightclubs 69 or Dama de Ferro. Galeria Café is crowded but charming and attracts a mixed audience, Le Boy and La Girl are located a stone's throw away in Copacabana, and are sure classical favourites. In the city centre, you find discarded club Cine Ideal, with an open bar and messy guests. By the hangar area, you find Rio's best nightclub; The Week, gay concept from São Paulo with the latest in lighting effects, international DJ's, pool and the finest the city has to offer.
