Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas is a big holiday paradise on Gran Canaria, the largest of the Canary Islands. It's located on the southern part of the island and consists mostly of hotels and bungalows rented out to tourists. Playa del Inglés is the gay part with Yumbo shopping centre serving as a central hub for the whole island's gay scene. Here you find a number of bars, clubs, restaurants and shops targeting the gay tourist. During the day, the gay beach and the Maspalomas desert is a must. Make sure to explore other parts of Gran Canaria too, it's an island with a rich nature.
